This abstract first appeared for US patent application 18488647 titled 'VOICE INTERACTION METHOD AND APPARATUS
Simplified Explanation
This patent application describes a voice interaction method and apparatus that aims to balance the accuracy and efficiency of voice recognition and enable the apparatus to respond appropriately and quickly to the user.
- The first apparatus obtains voice instructions from the user using a voice sensor.
- Based on the voice instructions, the first apparatus can determine whether to perform a target operation indicated by the voice instructions.
- The first apparatus can also send the voice instructions to a second apparatus.
- Depending on a first preset condition, the first apparatus can determine whether to perform a first operation determined by itself based on the voice instructions.
- Alternatively, based on the same first preset condition, the first apparatus can determine whether to perform a second operation indicated by the second apparatus.
Potential Applications:
- Voice-controlled smart devices and appliances
- Virtual assistants and chatbots
- Voice-activated automotive systems
- Voice-controlled home automation systems
Problems Solved:
- Balancing accuracy and efficiency of voice recognition
- Enabling quick and appropriate responses to user voice instructions
- Facilitating seamless communication between multiple apparatuses
Benefits:
- Improved user experience with voice interaction
- Increased efficiency in performing operations through voice commands
- Enhanced integration and coordination between different apparatuses
Original Abstract Submitted
This application provides a voice interaction method and apparatus. A first apparatus obtains, by using a voice sensor, first voice information including a voice instruction of a user. The first apparatus may determine, based on the first voice information, to perform a target operation indicated by the first voice information. The first apparatus may also send the first voice information to a second apparatus. The first apparatus may determine, based on a first preset condition, to perform a first operation determined by the first apparatus based on the first voice information. The first apparatus may alternatively determine, based on a first preset condition, to perform a second operation indicated by the second apparatus. The solution provided in this application helps balance accuracy and efficiency of voice recognition, and further helps enable the apparatus to appropriately and quickly respond to the user.
