DISPLAY APPARATUS AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME - A simplified explanation of the abstract

This abstract first appeared for US patent application 18488093 titled 'DISPLAY APPARATUS AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME

Simplified Explanation

The display apparatus described in the abstract includes a display area with light-emitting diodes, a common voltage supply line with an organic insulating layer, a connection electrode layer, an insulating layer, and a metal bank layer. The layers are interconnected through holes in the metal bank layer.

  • Light-emitting diodes are arranged in the display area of the apparatus.
  • A common voltage supply line is located outside the display area with an organic insulating layer.
  • A connection electrode layer is electrically connected to the common voltage supply line.
  • An insulating layer is placed on top of the connection electrode layer.
  • A metal bank layer is connected to the connection electrode layer through a contact hole in the insulating layer.

Potential Applications

The technology described in this patent application could be applied in various display devices, such as LED screens, electronic billboards, and signage.

Problems Solved

This technology solves the problem of efficiently supplying voltage to a large number of light-emitting diodes in a display area while maintaining insulation and proper electrical connections.
