TRANSPORT BLOCK TRANSMISSION USING DIFFERENT SPATIAL PARAMETERS - A simplified explanation of the abstract

This abstract first appeared for US patent application 18486990 titled 'TRANSPORT BLOCK TRANSMISSION USING DIFFERENT SPATIAL PARAMETERS

Simplified Explanation

The present disclosure relates to wireless communication and specifically to a wireless communication device that determines parameters associated with the repetition of a transport block (TB) and the size of the TB based on these parameters.

  • The wireless communication device determines a first set of parameters associated with the repetition of a first TB and a second set of parameters associated with the repetition of a second TB.
  • The device then determines the size of the TB based on the first set of parameters, the second set of parameters, or both.
  • This technology allows for efficient and optimized wireless communication by dynamically adjusting the TB size based on the parameters associated with its repetition.

Potential applications of this technology:

  • Wireless communication devices and systems
  • Mobile networks
  • Internet of Things (IoT) devices
  • Wireless data transmission

Problems solved by this technology:

  • Inefficient use of wireless communication resources
  • Suboptimal TB size for different repetitions
  • Inconsistent and unreliable wireless communication

Benefits of this technology:

  • Improved efficiency and optimization of wireless communication
  • Enhanced performance and reliability of wireless networks
  • Better utilization of wireless communication resources
  • Increased data transmission rates and capacity

Original Abstract Submitted

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a wireless communication device may determine a first set of parameters associated with a first transport block (TB) repetition of a TB and a second set of parameters associated with a second TB repetition of the TB; and determine a TB size of the TB based at least in part on the first set of parameters, the second set of parameters, or both the first set of parameters and the second set of parameters. Numerous other aspects are provided.
