METHOD AND DEVICE FOR SUPPORTING LATENCY SERVICES VIA A LOGICAL CHANNEL IN A MOBILE COMMUNICATION SYSTEM - A simplified explanation of the abstract

This abstract first appeared for US patent application 18469404 titled 'METHOD AND DEVICE FOR SUPPORTING LATENCY SERVICES VIA A LOGICAL CHANNEL IN A MOBILE COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

Simplified Explanation

The present disclosure describes a method and system for combining a 5th-Generation (5G) communication system with Internet of Things (IoT) technology. This allows for higher data rates beyond what a 4th-Generation (4G) system can support. The invention can be applied to various intelligent services based on 5G and IoT technology, such as smart homes, smart buildings, smart cities, smart cars, health care, digital education, smart retail, and security and safety services.

  • The invention proposes a method for transmitting and receiving signals that meet a maximum delay time requirement.
  • The invention also provides a method and device for effectively processing signals that are affected by the transmission and reception of signals meeting the maximum delay time.

Potential applications of this technology include:

  • Smart home systems that can seamlessly connect and control various IoT devices.
  • Smart buildings that can optimize energy usage and provide advanced security features.
  • Smart cities that can improve infrastructure management and enhance public services.
  • Smart cars and connected cars that can enable advanced driver assistance systems and vehicle-to-vehicle communication.
  • Health care systems that can remotely monitor patients and provide personalized care.
  • Digital education platforms that can deliver interactive and immersive learning experiences.
  • Smart retail solutions that can enhance customer experiences and optimize inventory management.
  • Security and safety services that can utilize IoT devices for surveillance and emergency response.

Problems solved by this technology include:

  • Enabling higher data rates and capacity for communication systems beyond what 4G can provide.
  • Integrating IoT technology with 5G communication systems to support a wide range of intelligent services.
  • Ensuring signals meet a maximum delay time requirement for efficient transmission and reception.

Benefits of this technology include:

  • Faster and more reliable communication for various applications.
  • Seamless integration of IoT devices into communication systems.
  • Enhanced efficiency and effectiveness in processing signals.
  • Improved user experiences and convenience in utilizing intelligent services.

Original Abstract Submitted

The present disclosure relates to a communication method and system for converging a 5th-Generation (5G) communication system for supporting higher data rates beyond a 4th-Generation (4G) system with a technology for Internet of Things (IoT). The present disclosure may be applied to intelligent services based on the 5G communication technology and the IoT-related technology, such as smart home, smart building, smart city, smart car, connected car, health care, digital education, smart retail, security and safety services. The present invention suggests a method for transmitting and receiving signals satisfying a maximum delay time, and a method and a device for effectively processing signals that are influenced by the transmission and reception of the signals satisfying the maximum delay time.
