The display panel includes a base layer, a circuit layer that is disposed on the base layer and that includes a pixel circuit and a barrier wall disposed in the element region, an element layer that is disposed on the circuit layer and that includes a plurality of light emitting elements and a pixel defining film, and an encapsulation layer disposed on the element layer. The pixel defining film includes a pixel defining pattern disposed in the element region and a pixel defining layer disposed in the second region, and a side surface of the pixel defining pattern is in contact with a side surface of the barrier wall.
