AIR CONDITIONING DEVICE FOR VEHICLE - A simplified explanation of the abstract

This abstract first appeared for US patent application 18446473 titled 'AIR CONDITIONING DEVICE FOR VEHICLE

Simplified Explanation

The patent application describes a system for controlling the flow of outside air and inside air in a vehicle ventilation duct, depending on the selected mode (outside air mode, inside air mode, or inside and outside air mixture mode). The system also includes a control unit that regulates the temperature of the heating medium in the heating system based on the temperature of the air passing through the evaporator.

  • System for controlling flow of outside air and inside air in a vehicle ventilation duct
  • Modes include outside air mode, inside air mode, and inside and outside air mixture mode
  • Control unit regulates temperature of heating medium in heating system based on air temperature passing through evaporator
      1. Potential Applications

- Automotive industry for climate control systems in vehicles

      1. Problems Solved

- Efficient regulation of air flow and temperature in vehicle ventilation systems - Improved comfort and air quality for passengers

      1. Benefits

- Enhanced control over air flow and temperature - Increased comfort and satisfaction for vehicle occupants - Improved energy efficiency in heating and cooling systems

Original Abstract Submitted

In an outside air mode, outside air introduced through an outside air introducing opening is introduced into a ventilation duct. In an inside air mode, inside air introduced through an inside air introducing opening is introduced into the ventilation duct. In an inside and outside air mixture mode, the outside air introduced through the outside air introducing opening and the inside air introduced through the inside air introducing opening are both introduced into the ventilation duct. When the interior of the vehicle is heated in the inside air mode or in the inside and outside air mixture mode, the control unit executes control such that all of the air to be blown out through the blowing opening has passed through the heater core, and sets the temperature of the heating medium in the heating system in accordance with the temperature of the air passing through the evaporator.
