A method performed by a User Equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system includes receiving, by a Wake Up Receiver (WUR) of the UE, information on wake-up from a Base Station (BS), triggering activation or inactivation of a main radio of the UE, based on the information on wake-up, and receiving, by the main radio of the UE, a downlink signal from the BS, when the activation of the main radio of the UE is triggered.
