ELECTRONIC APPARATUS AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF - A simplified explanation of the abstract

This abstract first appeared for US patent application 18379349 titled 'ELECTRONIC APPARATUS AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF

Simplified Explanation

The abstract describes an electronic apparatus that includes a projector, an input/output interface, a memory, and a processor. The processor controls the electronic apparatus by executing instructions stored in the memory. It obtains screen information from a connected screen device and controls the input/output interface to transmit operation information corresponding to the unrolling of the screen device in response to a user command to project an image. The processor also controls the projector to project a first image to at least a partial region of the exposed screen while it is being unrolled, based on the screen information and the operation information.

  • The electronic apparatus includes a projector, input/output interface, memory, and processor.
  • The processor controls the apparatus by executing instructions stored in the memory.
  • It obtains screen information from a connected screen device.
  • The input/output interface is controlled to transmit operation information related to the unrolling of the screen device.
  • The projector is controlled to project a first image to a partial region of the exposed screen while it is being unrolled.

Potential applications of this technology:

  • Projection systems for large screens or surfaces.
  • Interactive displays with unrolling screens.
  • Augmented reality or virtual reality systems with dynamic screen surfaces.

Problems solved by this technology:

  • Limited screen size or surface area for projection.
  • Inflexible or fixed screen surfaces.
  • Difficulty in creating interactive or dynamic displays.

Benefits of this technology:

  • Increased flexibility in screen size and shape.
  • Enhanced user interaction and engagement.
  • Improved immersive experiences in augmented or virtual reality.

Original Abstract Submitted

An electronic apparatus includes a projector, an input/output interface, a memory, and a processor that controls the electronic apparatus by executing at least one instruction stored in the memory. The processor obtains screen information of a screen device connected to the electronic apparatus, controls the input/output interface to transmit first operation information corresponding to an unrolling of the screen device in response to receiving a user command to project an image, and controls the projector to project a first image to at least a partial region of a region in which a screen of the screen device is exposed based on the screen information while the screen of the screen device is being unrolled, based on the first operation information.
