ELECTRONIC DEVICE - A simplified explanation of the abstract
This abstract first appeared for US patent application 18374028 titled 'ELECTRONIC DEVICE
Simplified Explanation
The abstract describes an electronic device that includes a reference voltage generator circuit. This circuit generates a reference voltage based on two input voltages. The circuit includes a first current source that supplies a current to two nodes, an amplifier that amplifies the difference between the voltages at the two nodes and outputs a corresponding difference voltage, a first bipolar junction transistor (BJT) connected to one of the nodes, a first resistor connected to the other node, a second BJT connected between the first resistor and ground, a second resistor connected between the other node and ground, and a first transistor that is supplied with a current from the first current source. Additionally, there is an adaptive cascode circuit that generates a bias voltage applied to the gate of the first transistor.
