AREA MONITORING SYSTEM AND AREA MONITORING METHOD - A simplified explanation of the abstract
This abstract first appeared for US patent application 18372722 titled 'AREA MONITORING SYSTEM AND AREA MONITORING METHOD
Simplified Explanation
The patent application describes an area monitoring system that includes a sensor device, an analyzer, a manager, and a provider. The system is designed to monitor a target area, analyze images captured by the sensor device, manage the movement of mobile objects on a road within the target area, and provide information to the mobile objects to prevent them from departing from the road.
- Sensor device installed to capture images of the monitoring target area
- Analyzer to analyze the images captured by the sensor device
- Manager to monitor the movement of mobile objects on the road within the target area
- Provider to give action instructions to mobile objects to prevent them from leaving the road
Potential Applications
This technology could be applied in traffic management systems, autonomous vehicle navigation, and safety monitoring in industrial environments.
Problems Solved
This technology helps prevent accidents by providing timely instructions to mobile objects to stay on the road, improving overall safety in monitored areas.
Benefits
The system enhances the efficiency of monitoring and managing mobile objects in a target area, reducing the risk of accidents and improving overall safety.
Potential Commercial Applications
Commercial applications of this technology could include integration into autonomous vehicles, traffic control systems, and industrial safety monitoring solutions.
Possible Prior Art
One possible prior art could be existing traffic monitoring systems that use cameras and sensors to track and analyze the movement of vehicles on roads.
Unanswered Questions
How does the system differentiate between different types of mobile objects, such as vehicles, pedestrians, or animals?
The patent application does not provide specific details on how the system distinguishes between different types of mobile objects within the monitoring target area.
What measures are in place to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the information provided to mobile objects?
The patent application does not elaborate on the methods used to verify the accuracy and reliability of the information provided to mobile objects to prevent them from departing from the road.
Original Abstract Submitted
According to an embodiment, an area monitoring system includes a sensor device installed at a position where a monitoring target area can be imaged, an analyzer configured to analyze an image captured by the sensor device, a manager configured to manage a movement situation of a mobile object moving on a road included in the monitoring target area on the basis of an analysis result of the analyzer, and a provider configured to provide prescribed information to the mobile object. The provider provides an action instruction for the mobile object to the mobile object when the mobile object is likely to depart from the road on the basis of the movement situation.
