METHOD OF PROVIDING WIRELESS CHARGING GUIDE AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE PERFORMING SAME - A simplified explanation of the abstract

This abstract first appeared for US patent application 18356547 titled 'METHOD OF PROVIDING WIRELESS CHARGING GUIDE AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE PERFORMING SAME

Simplified Explanation

The abstract describes a method and electronic device for providing a wireless charging guide. The electronic device includes a display and a processor that determines if the device is in the charging area of a wireless charger. If it is, the device identifies external electronic devices connected to it or previously connected to it, acquires battery charge state information of these devices, and controls the display to output a charging guide interface for the identified devices based on the charge available state of the wireless charger and the acquired battery charge state information.

  • The electronic device has a display and processor.
  • The device can determine if it is in the charging area of a wireless charger.
  • It can identify external electronic devices connected to it or previously connected to it.
  • The device can acquire battery charge state information of the identified external devices.
  • It can control the display to output a charging guide interface for the identified devices.
  • The charging guide interface is based on the charge available state of the wireless charger and the acquired battery charge state information.

Potential applications of this technology:

  • Convenient wireless charging for multiple devices.
  • Efficient management of battery charging for multiple devices.
  • User-friendly interface for monitoring and controlling charging of external devices.

Problems solved by this technology:

  • Difficulty in managing and monitoring charging of multiple devices.
  • Inefficient use of wireless charger capacity.
  • Lack of information on battery charge state of external devices.

Benefits of this technology:

  • Simplifies the process of charging multiple devices wirelessly.
  • Optimizes the use of wireless charger capacity.
  • Provides users with information on battery charge state of external devices.
  • Enhances user experience and convenience in managing device charging.

Original Abstract Submitted

A method of providing a wireless charging guide and/or an electronic device for performing the same are provided. The electronic device includes a display and at least one processor configured to determine whether the electronic device is in a charging area of a wireless charger, based on a determination that the electronic device is in the charging area, identify at least one external electronic device that is currently connected to the electronic device and/or has a record of being previously connected to the electronic device, acquire battery charge state information of the identified at least one external electronic device, and control the display to output a charging guide interface for the identified at least one external electronic device, based on a charge available state of the wireless charger and the acquired battery charge state information.
