A display apparatus includes: a substrate including: a first auxiliary pixel area; a second auxiliary pixel area adjacent to the first auxiliary pixel area; a third auxiliary pixel area adjacent to the first auxiliary pixel area; and a transmission area between the first auxiliary pixel area and the second auxiliary pixel area, and between the first auxiliary pixel area and the third auxiliary pixel area; a pixel-defining layer including: a first auxiliary opening in the first auxiliary pixel area; a second auxiliary opening in the second auxiliary pixel area; and a third auxiliary opening in the third auxiliary pixel area; an auxiliary connection wiring under the first, second, or third auxiliary pixel electrodes, and extending from the first auxiliary pixel area, the second auxiliary pixel area, or the third auxiliary pixel area to the transmission area; and an organic layer at the transmission area.
