The present application discloses an information transmission method and apparatus, which are used to reduce service delay. The information transmission method provided in the present application comprises: a terminal determines first parameters, the first parameters being used to indicate service latency requirements and/or delay jitter requirements of the terminal; and the terminal sends the first parameters by means of a random access uplink message.
