MANAGEMENT APPARATUS AND MANAGEMENT METHOD - A simplified explanation of the abstract

This abstract first appeared for US patent application 18230861 titled 'MANAGEMENT APPARATUS AND MANAGEMENT METHOD

Simplified Explanation

The management method described in the patent application involves calculating the CO2 emission amount of a product based on the CO2 emission amounts of raw materials used in its production.

  • Reading out the CO2 emission amount per unit weight of each raw material
  • Calculating the CO2 emission amount of the product based on the raw material weights and their respective CO2 emission amounts
    • Potential applications of this technology:**
  • Environmental management in manufacturing processes
  • Carbon footprint tracking for products
  • Compliance with emissions regulations
    • Problems solved by this technology:**
  • Lack of accurate methods for calculating product CO2 emissions
  • Difficulty in tracking and managing carbon footprints in production processes
    • Benefits of this technology:**
  • Improved environmental sustainability in manufacturing
  • Enhanced transparency in carbon emissions reporting
  • Better compliance with environmental regulations

Original Abstract Submitted

A management method for managing a COemission amount to be emitted by producing a product, includes: reading out a first COemission amount that is a COemission amount per unit weight of a first raw material and a second COemission amount that is a COemission amount per unit weight of a second raw material; and calculating the COemission amount of the product based on a COemission amount to be calculated from the first COemission amount and from a weight of the first raw material used to produce the product, and a COemission amount to be calculated from the second COemission amount and from a weight of the second raw material used to produce the product.
