WINDOW TYPE AIR-CONDITIONER AND INSTALLATION METHOD THEREOF - A simplified explanation of the abstract
This abstract first appeared for US patent application 18208055 titled 'WINDOW TYPE AIR-CONDITIONER AND INSTALLATION METHOD THEREOF
Simplified Explanation
The abstract describes a window type air conditioner with an outdoor module, an indoor module, a refrigerant pipe, and a connection support module.
- Outdoor module includes a compressor, outdoor heat exchanger, and outdoor housing.
- Indoor module includes an indoor heat exchanger and indoor housing.
- Refrigerant pipe allows refrigerant to move between indoor and outdoor modules.
- Connection support module connects and supports the indoor and outdoor modules.
- Sealing member inside the connection rod forms a seal between the refrigerant pipe and the connection rod.
Potential Applications
This technology can be used in residential and commercial buildings to provide efficient cooling solutions through window type air conditioners.
Problems Solved
This innovation solves the problem of securely connecting and supporting the indoor and outdoor modules of a window type air conditioner while maintaining a proper seal between the refrigerant pipe and the connection rod.
Benefits
The benefits of this technology include improved efficiency, reliability, and ease of installation and maintenance for window type air conditioners.
Original Abstract Submitted
A window type air conditioner including an outdoor module including a compressor, an outdoor heat exchanger, and an outdoor housing; an indoor module including an indoor heat exchanger, and an indoor housing spaced apart from the outdoor housing; a refrigerant pipe through which refrigerant moves between the indoor and the outdoor module; and a connection support module including a first connection rod having an inner circumferential surface, and a sealing member inside the first connection rod, wherein the connection support module connects, and supports a positional relationship between, the indoor and the outdoor module, the refrigerant pipe extends through the first connection rod so that an inner circumferential surface of the first connection rod is spaced apart from an outer circumferential surface of the refrigerant pipe, and the sealing member is arranged to form a seal between the refrigerant pipe and the first connection rod.
