CASE INCLUDING STRUCTURE FOR SUPPORTING ELECTRONIC DEVICE - A simplified explanation of the abstract

This abstract first appeared for US patent application 18199687 titled 'CASE INCLUDING STRUCTURE FOR SUPPORTING ELECTRONIC DEVICE

Simplified Explanation

The patent application describes a case coupled to an electronic device, with a moving plate that can be in two different states.

  • The case includes a base with a supporting surface.
  • The moving plate has a first supporting member and a second supporting member that is thicker than the first supporting member.
  • The moving plate can move on the supporting surface of the base.
  • The moving plate has a first state and a second state.
  • In the first state, the side surface of the second supporting member and the supporting surface are inclined with respect to the rotational axis.
  • In the second state, the side surface of the second supporting member faces the inner surface of the first supporting member or a side surface of the first supporting member perpendicular to the inner surface.

Potential applications of this technology:

  • Protective cases for electronic devices that can adjust to different states for added functionality or aesthetics.

Problems solved by this technology:

  • Providing a case that can adapt to different configurations based on user preferences or needs.

Benefits of this technology:

  • Versatility in design and functionality for electronic device cases.
  • Customizable options for users to personalize their device accessories.

Original Abstract Submitted

A case coupled to an electronic device incudes a base including a supporting surface, a moving plate including a first supporting member and a second supporting member thicker than the first supporting member and movable on the second surface of the base with respect to the base, wherein a state of the moving plate includes a first state and a second state, wherein a side surface of the second supporting member and the supporting surface inclined with respect to the rotational axis faces each other within the first state, and faces the inner surface of the first supporting member or a side surface of the first supporting member perpendicular to the inner surface of the first supporting member, by a movement of the second supporting member with respect to the first supporting member within the second state.
