NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER READABLE MEDIUM AND INFORMATION PROCESSING SYSTEM - A simplified explanation of the abstract

This abstract first appeared for US patent application 18179489 titled 'NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER READABLE MEDIUM AND INFORMATION PROCESSING SYSTEM

Simplified Explanation

The patent application describes a process for information processing that involves accepting a maintenance instruction for performing maintenance work on a target device and allowing a worker to work on a virtual device corresponding to the target device only.

  • The program stored on a computer readable medium allows a computer to execute a process for information processing.
  • The process involves accepting a maintenance instruction for performing maintenance work on a target device among multiple physical devices.
  • The worker, who can work on multiple virtual devices corresponding to the physical devices, is permitted to work only on the virtual device corresponding to the target device.
  • The worker is prohibited from working on a virtual device corresponding to a non-target device among the physical devices.

Potential Applications

This technology could be applied in industries where maintenance work on physical devices is required, such as manufacturing, healthcare, or transportation.

Problems Solved

This technology helps ensure that maintenance work is carried out efficiently and accurately on the target device, reducing the risk of errors or damage to non-target devices.

Benefits

- Improved maintenance process efficiency - Enhanced worker productivity - Reduced risk of errors during maintenance work

Potential Commercial Applications

"Optimizing Maintenance Work Process in Industrial Settings"

Possible Prior Art

There may be prior art related to virtual device management systems or maintenance work processes in industrial settings.

Unanswered Questions

How does the program determine which worker is assigned to perform maintenance work on a target device?

The abstract does not specify the method used to assign a worker to the maintenance work on the target device.

What measures are in place to ensure the security and privacy of the virtual devices and the maintenance work performed on them?

The abstract does not mention any security or privacy protocols implemented for the virtual devices and the maintenance work carried out on them.

Original Abstract Submitted

A non-transitory computer readable medium stores a program causing a computer to execute a process for information processing, the process including: accepting a maintenance instruction for performing maintenance work on a target device which is one of plural physical devices; and permitting a worker who is able to work on plural virtual devices provided one-to-one with the plural physical devices to perform, as the maintenance work, only work on a virtual device corresponding to the target device, and prohibiting the worker from working on a virtual device corresponding to a non-target device other than the target device among the plural physical devices.
