SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR TEMPLATE CREATION, CONFIGURATION, AND IDENTIFICATION - A simplified explanation of the abstract

This abstract first appeared for US patent application 18178457 titled 'SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR TEMPLATE CREATION, CONFIGURATION, AND IDENTIFICATION

Simplified Explanation

The abstract describes a method for creating and organizing tasks and events in a warehouse environment by generating templates, inputting data, and uploading the data to a dashboard accessible to workers.

  • Determining worker request for task/event template
  • Retrieving template with task/event information
  • Sending template to worker computing device
  • Prompting input of data into template
  • Uploading data to dashboard for new task/event creation

Potential Applications

This technology could be applied in various industries beyond warehouses, such as manufacturing facilities, logistics companies, and retail stores.

Problems Solved

This technology streamlines task and event organization in a warehouse environment, reducing manual errors and improving efficiency in task management.

Benefits

The method simplifies the process of creating and assigning tasks/events, enhances communication among workers, and provides a centralized platform for task/event tracking.

Potential Commercial Applications

"Streamlining Task and Event Organization in Warehouses: A Method for Improved Efficiency"

Possible Prior Art

There may be existing systems or methods for task management in warehouse environments, but the specific approach outlined in this patent application may offer unique features or improvements.

Unanswered Questions

=== How does this technology integrate with existing warehouse management systems? The abstract does not provide details on how this method interacts with other warehouse systems or software. It would be helpful to understand the compatibility and integration process.

=== What security measures are in place to protect the data uploaded to the dashboard? The abstract does not mention any security protocols for safeguarding the data uploaded to the dashboard. It would be important to address potential data privacy concerns and ensure secure data transmission and storage.

Original Abstract Submitted

A method is provided for creating and organizing tasks and events in a warehouse environment. The method includes determining, based on information received from a data ingestion pipeline and a system integration framework, that a worker is requesting a template to generate a task or event; retrieving the template from a memory, the template having information corresponding to the task or the event associated with the connected warehouse; sending the template to the worker computing device associated with the worker requesting the template; sending a prompt to input data into the template on the worker computing device; uploading the data from the template to a dashboard accessible from the plurality of worker computing devices, the data indicating the creation of a new task and/or a new event.
