METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR CORRELATING SOURCE CODE COMMITMENTS AND MODEL RESULT RECORDS DURING MODEL DEVELOPMENT - A simplified explanation of the abstract

This abstract first appeared for US patent application 18153621 titled 'METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR CORRELATING SOURCE CODE COMMITMENTS AND MODEL RESULT RECORDS DURING MODEL DEVELOPMENT

Simplified Explanation

Methods and systems are described for improving model development by managing source code commitments and model result records without the need for external software. This allows contributors to control the storage of commitments and results during model development.

  • Contributors can manage when and where commitments and results are stored.
  • No additional external software is required for managing commitments and results.
  • Source code commitments and model result records are correlated during model development.
  • Native source code commands and libraries are used for automatic storage of commitments.

Potential Applications

  • Model development in various fields such as machine learning, data analysis, and software engineering.
  • Collaborative projects where multiple contributors need to manage and track source code commitments.

Problems Solved

  • Difficulty in managing and tracking source code commitments during model development.
  • Dependency on external software for storing commitments and results.
  • Lack of correlation between source code commitments and model result records.

Benefits

  • Enhanced control over the storage of commitments and results.
  • Simplified management of source code commitments without the need for additional software.
  • Improved correlation between source code commitments and model result records.
  • Automated storage of commitments using native source code commands and libraries.

Original Abstract Submitted

Methods and systems are described herein for improvements to model development, particularly in terms of source code commitments for these models. For example, methods and systems allow contributors to manage when and where commitments and/or the results of those commitments are stored and/or do so without the use of an additional layer of external software by correlating source code commitments and model result records during model development. Moreover, the methods and systems allow contributors to manage when and where commitments are store automatically without the use of an additional layer of external software through user of native source code commands and libraries.
