METHOD FOR PROVIDING ANIMATION EFFECT AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE SUPPORTING THE SAME - A simplified explanation of the abstract

This abstract first appeared for US patent application 18101683 titled 'METHOD FOR PROVIDING ANIMATION EFFECT AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE SUPPORTING THE SAME

Simplified Explanation

The patent application describes an electronic device with a display and a processor that can detect a specific event and display text with an animation effect in response to that event. Here are the key points:

  • The electronic device has a display and a processor connected to it.
  • The processor can detect a designated event.
  • When the designated event is detected, the processor identifies the text to be displayed on the screen and the font to be used.
  • The processor determines an animation effect to be applied to the text based on the font.
  • The animation effect involves displaying each character of the text along a path that corresponds to the shape of the character, from a start point to an end point.
  • The text with the animation effect is displayed on the screen for a specific time period in response to the designated event.

Potential applications of this technology:

  • Advertising and marketing: This technology can be used to create eye-catching and attention-grabbing displays for advertisements or promotional messages.
  • Entertainment: It can be used in gaming or interactive applications to enhance the visual experience and engagement of users.
  • Education: This technology can be utilized in educational applications to make learning more interactive and engaging, especially for children.

Problems solved by this technology:

  • Lack of visual appeal: This technology addresses the issue of static and uninteresting displays by adding animation effects to the text, making it more visually appealing and engaging.
  • Limited user engagement: By incorporating animation effects, this technology can increase user engagement and interaction with the displayed text, leading to a more immersive experience.

Benefits of this technology:

  • Enhanced visual experience: The animation effects applied to the text make it more visually appealing and captivating for viewers.
  • Increased user engagement: The interactive nature of the animation effects encourages users to actively engage with the displayed text.
  • Improved communication: The animation effects can help convey messages more effectively and attract attention to important information.

Original Abstract Submitted

An embodiment discloses an electronic device which includes a display and a processor electrically connected with the display. The processor may be configured to detect a designated event, identify text to be outputted on the display and a font applied to the text in response to detecting the designated event, the text including a plurality of characters, determine an animation effect to be applied to the text based on the font, where in applying the animation effect, the processor may be configured to display each of the plurality of the characters for a designated time period along a path corresponding to a character shape from a start point toward an end point of each of the plurality of the characters, and display the text to which the animation effect is applied on the display for the designated time period in response to detecting the designated event.
