The display assembly includes: a display panel; a diverging piece, arranged on a side of the display panel in a width direction; an emitting module, arranged on a non-display side of the display panel and configured to emit light to the diverging piece; a receiving module, arranged on the non-display side of the display panel and configured to receive light reflected by a detection target; and a cover plate, arranged on a display side of the display panel. The diverging piece is configured to diverge the emitted light to the detection target. A stretching structure is formed on one of the cover plate or the diverging piece. The stretching structure is located on the side of the display panel in the width direction. The stretching structure stretches light diverged by the diverging piece in the width direction of the display panel.
