CLEANER - A simplified explanation of the abstract

This abstract first appeared for US patent application 18093724 titled 'CLEANER

Simplified Explanation

The abstract describes a cleaner that has two spin-mop modules, one on each side of the body, which can rotate to perform mopping. Each spin-mop module is driven by a separate spin-drive unit located on the corresponding side of the body. The spin-drive units have rotational axes that are different from the rotational axes of the spin-mop modules.

  • The cleaner has a body with two spin-mop modules, one on each side.
  • The spin-mop modules can rotate about a first rotational axis to perform mopping.
  • The left spin-mop module is driven by a left spin-drive unit, and the right spin-mop module is driven by a right spin-drive unit.
  • The left spin-drive unit is located on the left side of the body, and the right spin-drive unit is located on the right side of the body.
  • The spin-drive units have a second rotational axis that is different from the first rotational axis of the spin-mop modules.

Potential applications of this technology:

  • Household cleaning devices
  • Commercial cleaning equipment
  • Industrial cleaning machines

Problems solved by this technology:

  • Efficient and effective mopping of large areas
  • Improved maneuverability and coverage
  • Simultaneous cleaning of different areas

Benefits of this technology:

  • Faster and more thorough cleaning
  • Reduced effort and time required for mopping
  • Versatile and adaptable to different cleaning needs

Original Abstract Submitted

A cleaner includes a body, a left spin-mop module located on a left side of the body and a right spin-mop module located on a right side of the body, each of the left spin-mop module and the right spin-mop module being rotatable about a first rotational axis to perform mopping, a left spin-drive unit disposed on the left side of the body, the left spin-drive unit being configured to provide a force to rotate the left spin-mop module; and a right spin-drive unit disposed on the right side of the body, the right spin-drive unit being configured to provide a force to rotate the right spin-mop module. Each of the left spin-drive unit and the right spin-drive unit has a second rotational axis that extend in a direction different from the first rotational axis of the respective left spin-drive unit and the right spin-drive unit.
