METHOD FOR TRANSMITTING SYNCHRONISATION REFERENCE SIGNAL FOR DEVICE-TO-DEVICE (D2D) COMMUNICATION IN WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM AND APPARATUS THEREFOR - A simplified explanation of the abstract
This abstract first appeared for US patent application 18090887 titled 'METHOD FOR TRANSMITTING SYNCHRONISATION REFERENCE SIGNAL FOR DEVICE-TO-DEVICE (D2D) COMMUNICATION IN WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM AND APPARATUS THEREFOR
Simplified Explanation
The present invention is a method for receiving a synchronization reference signal for device-to-device (D2D) communication in a wireless communication system. It involves receiving multiple synchronization reference signals, including one transmitted by a cluster head for D2D communication and another transmitted by a second terminal belonging to the D2D communication cluster.
- The method involves receiving a plurality of synchronization reference signals over a D2D synchronization reference signal transmission cycle.
- The first synchronization reference signal is transmitted by a cluster head for D2D communication.
- The second synchronization reference signal is transmitted by a second terminal belonging to a cluster for the D2D communication.
Potential applications of this technology:
- Wireless communication systems that utilize device-to-device (D2D) communication.
- Clustering of D2D communication devices for improved synchronization.
Problems solved by this technology:
- Ensures accurate synchronization in D2D communication systems.
- Allows for efficient coordination between cluster heads and terminals in D2D communication clusters.
Benefits of this technology:
- Improved reliability and performance of D2D communication.
- Enhanced synchronization for better coordination and resource allocation.
- Simplified implementation and management of D2D communication clusters.
Original Abstract Submitted
The present invention relates to a method for receiving a synchronisation reference signal for device-to-device (D2D) communication by a first terminal in a wireless communication system and an apparatus therefor. More specifically, the present invention comprises a step of receiving a plurality of synchronisation reference signals including a first synchronisation reference signal and a second synchronisation reference signal over a D2D synchronisation reference signal transmission cycle, wherein the first synchronisation reference signal is transmitted by a cluster head for D2D communication and the second synchronisation reference signal is transmitted by a second terminal that belongs to a cluster for the D2D communication.
