VOICE RECOGNITION SYSTEM AND DISPLAY DEVICE USING THE SAME - A simplified explanation of the abstract

This abstract first appeared for US patent application 18082977 titled 'VOICE RECOGNITION SYSTEM AND DISPLAY DEVICE USING THE SAME

Simplified Explanation

The patent application describes a voice recognition system and a display device that uses the same technology. The system includes a plate structure, a vibration sensor, and a voice recognition device. Here are the key points:

  • The plate structure vibrates when a user generates a voice wave.
  • A vibration sensor is in contact with the plate structure to detect its vibration.
  • The voice recognition device receives the signal output from the vibration sensor to recognize the user's voice.

Potential applications of this technology:

  • Smart speakers: The voice recognition system can be used in smart speakers to accurately recognize and respond to voice commands.
  • Voice assistants: The technology can be integrated into voice assistant devices to enhance their accuracy and responsiveness.
  • Automotive systems: The system can be used in cars to enable voice control of various functions, such as navigation, entertainment, and climate control.

Problems solved by this technology:

  • Accurate voice recognition: The system improves the accuracy of voice recognition by detecting and analyzing the vibrations of the plate structure.
  • Noise cancellation: The vibration sensor can filter out background noise and focus on the user's voice, improving the overall performance of the voice recognition system.

Benefits of this technology:

  • Enhanced user experience: The system provides more accurate and reliable voice recognition, leading to a better user experience with voice-controlled devices.
  • Improved accessibility: The technology can benefit individuals with disabilities by enabling them to interact with devices using their voice.
  • Increased efficiency: Voice recognition systems can streamline tasks and operations by allowing users to control devices and access information through voice commands.

Original Abstract Submitted

Disclosed are a voice recognition system and a display device using the same. The disclosed voice recognition system includes a plate structure, a vibration sensor, and a voice recognition device. The plate structure vibrates based on propagation of a voice wave generated from a user, and the vibration sensor is provided in contact with the plate structure to detect the vibration of the plate structure. The voice recognition device recognizes voice of the user by receiving a signal output from the vibration sensor.
