Problems Solved

This technology streamlines the process of seeking assistance by automatically matching requestors with suitable and available entities, reducing response times and improving overall task completion rates.

Benefits

The system enhances efficiency by quickly identifying and connecting requestors with appropriate assistance, leading to faster problem resolution and increased productivity.

Potential Commercial Applications

Potential commercial applications of this technology include customer support services, on-demand assistance platforms, and collaborative task management tools.

Possible Prior Art

Prior art in this field may include existing task management systems, customer service platforms, and communication tools that facilitate connections between users based on predefined criteria.

Unanswered Questions

How does the system ensure the privacy and security of communication between the requestor and the assisting entity?

The patent application does not provide details on the mechanisms in place to protect the privacy and security of the communication channel established between the requestor and the assisting entity. Additional information on encryption protocols, data storage practices, and access controls would be necessary to address this aspect of the technology.

What measures are in place to prevent misuse of the system, such as false claims of availability or willingness to assist?

The patent application does not discuss potential safeguards or verification processes to prevent misuse of the system, such as false claims of availability or willingness to assist. Implementing authentication mechanisms, user ratings, or monitoring tools could help address this issue and ensure the reliability of the assistance provided through the system.

Original Abstract Submitted

A system receives a request for assistance on a task, the request at least identifying the task. The system determines one or more designated entities having predefined characteristics associated therewith indicating suitability for assistance and determines a current status of each determined entity and whether the status indicates availability for assistance. Further, the system contacts at least one of the entities for which the characteristics indicate suitability and for which the status indicates availability and, responsive to at least one entity indicating willingness to assist, opens a communication channel between a requestor, from whom the request originated, and the at least one entity indicating willingness to assist.
