SOYBEAN CULTIVAR 12350011 - A simplified explanation of the abstract

This abstract first appeared for US patent application 17949590 titled 'SOYBEAN CULTIVAR 12350011

Simplified Explanation

The soybean cultivar 12350011 is a new variety with specific genetic traits that make it unique and valuable for agricultural purposes.

  • This patent application covers the seeds, plants, and plant parts of soybean cultivar 12350011.
  • The invention also includes methods for producing progeny of soybean cultivar 12350011 and for introducing transgenes into soybean plants.
  • It further relates to hybrid soybean seeds, plants, and plant parts produced by crossing cultivar 12350011 with another soybean cultivar.

Potential Applications

The soybean cultivar 12350011 can be used for commercial farming to produce high-quality soybeans with desirable traits such as disease resistance or increased yield.

Problems Solved

This technology helps address challenges in soybean farming by providing farmers with a new cultivar that offers improved characteristics compared to existing varieties.

Benefits

Farmers can benefit from increased crop productivity, better resistance to pests and diseases, and potentially higher profits from using the soybean cultivar 12350011.

Potential Commercial Applications

The technology can be commercialized by seed companies for selling seeds to farmers looking to improve their soybean production.

Possible Prior Art

Prior art may include other patented soybean cultivars with similar traits or genetic modifications aimed at enhancing soybean crops.

Unanswered Questions

How does soybean cultivar 12350011 compare to other existing soybean varieties in terms of yield potential and adaptability to different growing conditions?

Soybean cultivar 12350011 has not been directly compared to other soybean varieties in this patent application. Further research or field trials may be needed to determine its performance relative to other cultivars.

What specific transgenes can be introduced into soybean plants using the methods described in this patent application, and how do these transgenes affect the plant's characteristics?

The patent application does not specify the exact transgenes that can be introduced into soybean plants. Additional information on the types of transgenes and their impact on plant traits would be valuable for understanding the full potential of this technology.

Original Abstract Submitted

A soybean cultivar designated 12350011 is disclosed. The invention relates to the seeds of soybean cultivar 12350011, to the plants of soybean cultivar 12350011, to the plant parts of soybean cultivar 12350011, and to methods for producing progeny of soybean cultivar 12350011. The invention also relates to methods for producing a soybean plant containing in its genetic material one or more transgenes and to the transgenic soybean plants and plant parts produced by those methods. The invention also relates to soybean cultivars or breeding cultivars, and plant parts derived from soybean cultivar 12350011. The invention also relates to methods for producing other soybean cultivars, lines, or plant parts derived from soybean cultivar 12350011, and to the soybean plants, varieties, and their parts derived from use of those methods. The invention further relates to hybrid soybean seeds, plants, and plant parts produced by crossing cultivar 12350011 with another soybean cultivar.
