REFRIGERATOR AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF - A simplified explanation of the abstract
This abstract first appeared for US patent application 17949588 titled 'REFRIGERATOR AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF
Simplified Explanation
The abstract describes a refrigerator that can detect excessive condensation in the condenser by measuring the temperature difference between evaporators in each storage compartment. It can control the operating time of a heat dissipation fan to cool the condenser based on whether excessive condensation occurs or not.
- The refrigerator has multiple storage compartments and evaporators corresponding to each compartment.
- A compressor is used to compress the refrigerant evaporated by the evaporators.
- The compressed refrigerant is then condensed in a condenser.
- A heat dissipation fan is employed to cool the condenser.
- Evaporator temperature sensors detect the temperature of each evaporator.
- A controller determines if excessive condensation is happening in the condenser based on the temperature difference between the evaporators.
- The controller adjusts the operating time of the heat dissipation fan depending on whether excessive condensation occurs or not.
Potential Applications
- This technology can be applied in various types of refrigerators, including household refrigerators and commercial refrigeration systems.
- It can be useful in environments where condensation control is crucial, such as food storage facilities, laboratories, and medical facilities.
Problems Solved
- Excessive condensation in the condenser can lead to reduced cooling efficiency and potential damage to the refrigerator.
- By detecting and controlling excessive condensation, this technology helps maintain optimal performance and prolongs the lifespan of the refrigerator.
Benefits
- Improved energy efficiency by optimizing the operating time of the heat dissipation fan.
- Enhanced cooling performance and temperature control in each storage compartment.
- Reduced maintenance and repair costs by preventing damage caused by excessive condensation.
Original Abstract Submitted
