TECHNIQUES FOR DYNAMIC TRANSMISSION PARAMETER ADAPTATION - A simplified explanation of the abstract
This abstract first appeared for US patent application 17941967 titled 'TECHNIQUES FOR DYNAMIC TRANSMISSION PARAMETER ADAPTATION
Simplified Explanation
The patent application describes methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications, specifically focusing on dynamic transmission parameter adaptation.
- User equipment (UE) receives control messages from a network entity indicating sets of transmission parameters for adaptation.
- The UE receives a control message to switch from one set of transmission parameters to another while communicating with the network entity.
- The UE then communicates with the network entity based on the new set of transmission parameters according to a parameter switching timeline.
Potential Applications
- Mobile telecommunications networks
- Internet of Things (IoT) devices
- Autonomous vehicles
Problems Solved
- Efficient utilization of network resources
- Seamless communication handovers
- Improved network performance and reliability
Benefits
- Enhanced network efficiency
- Better user experience
- Increased reliability and adaptability
Original Abstract Submitted
Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive, from a network entity, a first control message indicating sets of transmission parameters associated with dynamic transmission parameter adaptation. The UE may receive a second control message including an indication to switch from communicating with the network entity in accordance with a first set of transmission parameters to communicating with the network entity in accordance with a second set of transmission parameters. The UE may communicate one or more messages with the network entity based on a switch, in response to the second control message, from the first set of transmission parameters to the second set of transmission parameters in accordance with a parameter switching timeline for the dynamic transmission parameter adaptation.
