MULTIPLEXING AT A FORWARDING NODE - A simplified explanation of the abstract

This abstract first appeared for US patent application 17931875 titled 'MULTIPLEXING AT A FORWARDING NODE

Simplified Explanation

The patent application relates to wireless communication and how a network node can transmit information to a parent network node regarding its compatibility for multiplexing with different mobile stations. The network node then receives communications from the parent network node that are multiplexed based on this compatibility information.

  • Network node can transmit compatibility information to parent network node for multiplexing with mobile stations.
  • Receives multiplexed communications from parent network node based on compatibility information.
  • Improves efficiency and effectiveness of communication between network node and mobile stations.

Potential Applications

  • Improved communication efficiency in wireless networks.
  • Enhanced data transmission capabilities for mobile stations.
  • Optimization of network resources for better performance.

Problems Solved

  • Inefficient communication between network nodes and mobile stations.
  • Lack of compatibility awareness for multiplexing in wireless networks.
  • Suboptimal data transmission resulting in poor network performance.

Benefits

  • Increased data transmission speeds.
  • Better utilization of network resources.
  • Enhanced overall network performance and reliability.

Original Abstract Submitted

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a network node may transmit, to a parent network node, information associated with a multiplexing compatibility of the network node for communications with a first mobile station and a second mobile station, the first mobile station and the second mobile station connected to the parent network node via the network node. The network node may receive, from the parent network node, a first communication for the first mobile station and a second communication for the second mobile station, the first communication and the second communication multiplexed based at least in part on the information associated with the multiplexing compatibility of the network node for communications with the first mobile station and the second mobile station. Numerous other aspects are described.
