A network search method for SA 5G service auto-provisioning is disclosed, including: user equipment sends a registration request to a network side device to request to register the user equipment with a 5G network, and a networking mode of the 5G network is standalone networking SA; the user equipment receives a registration reject response from the network side device when no available 5G subscription data of the user equipment is obtained through query, where the registration reject response is used to notify the user equipment that the registration with the 5G network fails; the user equipment receives a notification short message from the network side device after the network side device provisions a 5G service for the user equipment; and the user equipment sends the registration request to the network side device again in response to the notification short message.
