The first electronic device receives first information, from the second electronic device, that includes information about a device identifier and a device type of the second electronic device. The first electronic device determines, based on the device identifier and the device type, that the second electronic device is suitable for executing the first task. The first electronic device sends a recommended service corresponding to the first task to the second electronic device. The second electronic device displays prompt information corresponding to the recommended service on a display.
