Method for Recommending Service, Electronic Device, and System - A simplified explanation of the abstract

This abstract first appeared for US patent application 17916631 titled 'Method for Recommending Service, Electronic Device, and System

Simplified Explanation

The abstract describes a system where one electronic device can identify another device within a certain distance and determine if it is suitable for executing a specific task. If the second device is suitable, the first device sends a recommended service for that task to the second device, which then displays prompt information on its display.

  • The first electronic device identifies a second electronic device within a preset distance.
  • The first electronic device receives information about the device identifier and device type of the second electronic device.
  • Based on the device identifier and device type, the first electronic device determines if the second electronic device is suitable for executing a specific task.
  • If the second electronic device is suitable, the first electronic device sends a recommended service corresponding to the task to the second electronic device.
  • The second electronic device displays prompt information related to the recommended service on its display.

Potential Applications

  • This technology could be used in smart home systems where different devices need to communicate and coordinate tasks.
  • It could be applied in industrial settings where multiple devices need to work together for efficient operations.
  • It could be used in healthcare settings to ensure that the appropriate devices are used for specific medical tasks.

Problems Solved

  • This technology solves the problem of determining if a specific task can be executed by a particular device.
  • It solves the problem of identifying suitable devices within a certain distance for task execution.
  • It addresses the issue of coordinating tasks between different electronic devices.

Benefits

  • The system allows for efficient task execution by identifying the most suitable device for a specific task.
  • It simplifies the process of coordinating tasks between different devices.
  • It improves user experience by providing prompt information on the recommended service for a task.

Original Abstract Submitted

A first electronic device determines a second electronic device within a preset distance when the first electronic device determines, based on a mapping relationship, that a first task that is being executed is not a task that is suitable for being executed by a device type of the first electronic device. The first electronic device receives first information, from the second electronic device, that includes information about a device identifier and a device type of the second electronic device. The first electronic device determines, based on the device identifier and the device type, that the second electronic device is suitable for executing the first task. The first electronic device sends a recommended service corresponding to the first task to the second electronic device. The second electronic device displays prompt information corresponding to the recommended service on a display.
