This abstract first appeared for US patent application 17885173 titled 'HYBRID AUTOMATIC REPEAT REQUEST (HARQ) ACKNOWLEDGMENT (ACK) RESOURCE INDICATION FOR MULTI PHYSICAL DOWNLINK SHARED CHANNEL (PDSCH) GRANTS
Simplified Explanation
- Method for wireless communications by a user equipment (UE) - UE receives downlink control information (DCI) scheduling multiple transmissions belonging to a plurality of sub-groups - Each sub-group includes one or more transmissions - DCI indicates at least one feedback timing - UE receives multiple transmissions belonging to the plurality of sub-groups - UE transmits feedback for each sub-group of the one or more transmissions, in accordance with the at least one feedback timing
Potential Applications
- Wireless communication systems - Mobile devices - Internet of Things (IoT) devices
Problems Solved
- Efficient scheduling of multiple transmissions - Timely feedback transmission - Managing feedback for different sub-groups
Benefits
- Improved communication reliability - Enhanced network efficiency - Better user experience with reduced latency
Original Abstract Submitted
Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide a method for wireless communications by a user equipment (UE). The UE receives downlink control information (DCI) scheduling multiple transmissions belonging to a plurality of sub-groups. Each sub-group includes one or more transmissions. The DCI indicates at least one feedback timing. The UE receives the multiple transmissions belonging to the plurality of sub-groups. The UE transmits feedback for each sub-group of the one or more transmissions, in accordance with the at least one feedback timing.
