LIGHT EMITTING ELEMENT AND AMINE COMPOUND FOR THE SAME - A simplified explanation of the abstract

This abstract first appeared for US patent application 17881421 titled 'LIGHT EMITTING ELEMENT AND AMINE COMPOUND FOR THE SAME

Simplified Explanation

Abstract

A light emitting element is described in this patent application. The element consists of a first electrode, a second electrode on top of the first electrode, and at least one functional layer between them. The functional layer contains an amine compound represented by Formula 1. This configuration allows the light emitting element to have a long service life, lower driving voltage, and improved brightness and efficiency.

Original Abstract Submitted

A light emitting element including a first electrode, a second electrode on the first electrode, and at least one functional layer between the first electrode and the second electrode is provided. The at least one functional layer may include an amine compound represented by Formula 1. Accordingly, the light emitting element may exhibit a long service life characteristic. In addition, the light emitting element may exhibit characteristics in which the driving voltage is reduced, and the brightness and efficiency are improved.
