ELECTRONIC DEVICE FOR DISPLAYING EXECUTION SCREEN OF APPLICATION, OPERATING METHOD THEREOF, AND STORAGE MEDIUM - A simplified explanation of the abstract

This abstract first appeared for US patent application 17881228 titled 'ELECTRONIC DEVICE FOR DISPLAYING EXECUTION SCREEN OF APPLICATION, OPERATING METHOD THEREOF, AND STORAGE MEDIUM

Simplified Explanation

The patent application describes an electronic device with a display and a processor. The processor is designed to display an execution window for an application on the display. When a background switch request is made for the application, the processor identifies the state of the application and switches the execution window from a first shape to a second shape accordingly.

  • An electronic device with a display and processor is disclosed.
  • The processor is connected to the display and can execute applications.
  • When an application is executed, the processor displays an execution window corresponding to the application on the display.
  • In response to a background switch request for the application, the processor changes the shape of the execution window.
  • The processor identifies the state of the application while displaying the first shape of the execution window.
  • The processor then switches the first shape of the execution window into a second shape based on the state of the application.

Potential Applications

  • This technology can be applied in smartphones, tablets, and other electronic devices with displays.
  • It can enhance the user experience by providing dynamic execution windows that adapt to the state of the application being used.
  • Developers can utilize this technology to create more interactive and visually appealing applications.

Problems Solved

  • Traditional execution windows in electronic devices are static and do not change based on the state of the application.
  • Users may find it difficult to keep track of the current state of an application when switching between different tasks.
  • This technology solves these problems by dynamically changing the shape of the execution window to reflect the state of the application.

Benefits

  • Improved user experience with visually adaptive execution windows.
  • Easier identification of the current state of an application.
  • Increased efficiency in multitasking and task switching.
  • Enhanced aesthetics and interactivity in application design.

Original Abstract Submitted

An electronic device is disclosed and includes a display and at least one processor operatively connected with the display. The at least one processor is configured to, when an application is executed, display an execution window corresponding to the application on the display, display the execution window, as a first shape of execution window, on at least a portion of the display, in response to a background switch request for the application, identify a state of the application while displaying the first shape of execution window, and switch the first shape of execution window into a second shape of execution window according to the state of the application.
