ELECTRONIC DEVICE FOR MANAGING INAPPROPRIATE ANSWER AND OPERATING METHOD THEREOF - A simplified explanation of the abstract

This abstract first appeared for US patent application 17870246 titled 'ELECTRONIC DEVICE FOR MANAGING INAPPROPRIATE ANSWER AND OPERATING METHOD THEREOF

Simplified Explanation

The patent application describes an electronic device that can receive user input and provide natural language outputs based on the input. Here are the key points:

  • The device has a processor and memory to store instructions.
  • It can receive user input and identify the corresponding natural language input.
  • It can then identify a first natural language output based on the input.
  • The device can also identify specified words from the first output.
  • Based on the identified words, it can generate a second natural language output.
  • The device outputs the second natural language output to the user.

Potential applications of this technology:

  • Virtual assistants: The device can act as a virtual assistant, understanding user input and providing relevant information or responses.
  • Language translation: The device can translate user input into different languages and provide corresponding outputs.
  • Information retrieval: The device can search for specific information based on user input and provide relevant outputs.

Problems solved by this technology:

  • Improved user experience: The device can understand and respond to user input in a more natural and accurate manner.
  • Efficient information retrieval: By identifying specified words, the device can quickly generate relevant outputs without the need for extensive processing.

Benefits of this technology:

  • Enhanced communication: Users can interact with the device using natural language, making the interaction more intuitive and user-friendly.
  • Time-saving: The device can quickly generate relevant outputs, saving time for the user.
  • Improved accuracy: By identifying specified words, the device can provide more accurate and targeted outputs.

Original Abstract Submitted

An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes processor, and a memory that stores instructions. The instructions, when executed by the processor, cause the electronic device to receive a user input, to identify a natural language input corresponding to the user input, to identify a first natural language output corresponding to the natural language input, to identify at least one specified word from at least one word included in the first natural language output, to identify a second natural language output based on a fact that the at least one specified word is identified, and to output the second natural language output such that the second natural language output is provided to a user.
