Consistent with these embodiments, a method includes receiving a request from a first device to share a media gallery that includes a user avatar; generating metadata associated with the media gallery; generating a message associated with the media gallery, the message at least including the media gallery identifier and the identifier of the user avatar; and transmitting the message to a second device of the recipient user.
