The UE may transmit the NACK feedback message, via a radio access network (RAN), to a broadcast/multicast control plane function device of a core network based at least in part on determining that the NACK feedback message is to be transmitted. The UE may receive a retransmission of the broadcast/multicast communication based at least in part on transmitting the NACK feedback message. Numerous other aspects are provided.
