DISPLAY DEVICE, SOUND PRODUCING CONTROL METHOD, PARAMETER DETERMINING METHOD AND DEVICE - A simplified explanation of the abstract

This abstract first appeared for US patent application 17619923 titled 'DISPLAY DEVICE, SOUND PRODUCING CONTROL METHOD, PARAMETER DETERMINING METHOD AND DEVICE

Simplified Explanation

The patent application describes a display device that includes multiple exciters arranged on the display panel to produce sound on the screen. The exciters are formed as sound producing units, each consisting of at least two exciters connected to the same audio signal input end. A signal filter is provided on the audio transmission line to compensate for low frequencies in the sound produced by the sound producing unit.

  • The display device includes multiple exciters arranged on the display panel.
  • The exciters produce sound on the screen.
  • The exciters are formed as sound producing units.
  • Each sound producing unit consists of at least two exciters.
  • Each exciter in the same sound producing unit is connected to the same audio signal input end.
  • A signal filter is provided on the audio transmission line.
  • The signal filter compensates for low frequencies in the sound produced by the sound producing unit.

Potential applications of this technology:

  • Improved audio quality in display devices.
  • Enhanced user experience in multimedia applications.
  • Better sound reproduction in gaming consoles and virtual reality devices.

Problems solved by this technology:

  • Inadequate sound quality in display devices.
  • Limited audio capabilities of traditional display panels.
  • Difficulty in reproducing low frequencies accurately.

Benefits of this technology:

  • High-quality sound production on the display panel.
  • Improved immersion and audio experience for users.
  • Enhanced audio performance in multimedia applications.
  • Accurate reproduction of low frequencies for a more realistic sound.

Original Abstract Submitted

A display device, a sound producing control method, a method and device for determining parameters. The display device includes a plurality of exciters arranged on the display panel, the display panel producing sound on a screen through the plurality of exciters; wherein, the plurality of the exciters are formed as at least one sound producing unit, each sound producing unit includes at least two exciters, and each exciter in the same sound producing unit is connected to a same audio signal input end, in one sound producing unit, a signal filter is provided on an audio transmission line from the audio signal input end to at least one exciter, and used for low frequency compensation of a sound produced by the entire sound producing unit.
