SPLICING INSTALLATION ASSEMBLY OF DISPLAY DEVICE AND DISPLAY DEVICE - A simplified explanation of the abstract

This abstract first appeared for US patent application 17597952 titled 'SPLICING INSTALLATION ASSEMBLY OF DISPLAY DEVICE AND DISPLAY DEVICE

Simplified Explanation

The present application describes a splicing installation assembly for a display device, as well as the display device itself. The assembly consists of a backboard, a middle frame, and a partition. The middle frame is designed to connect to the backboard of the display device, while the partition is placed within the middle frame and connected to its inner wall. The partition divides the inner space of the middle frame into multiple installation areas for backlight modules.

  • The middle frame connects to the backboard of the display device.
  • The partition is placed within the middle frame and connected to its inner wall.
  • The partition divides the inner space of the middle frame into multiple installation areas.
  • The installation areas are used for installing backlight modules.
  • Multiple backlight modules can be installed on the same splicing installation assembly.
  • This reduces the space occupied by the middle frame between adjacent backlight modules, resulting in a smaller splicing gap.

Potential applications of this technology:

  • Display devices with larger screens can benefit from this splicing installation assembly.
  • It allows for the installation of multiple backlight modules, improving the overall brightness and uniformity of the display.
  • This technology can be used in various industries, including televisions, computer monitors, and digital signage.

Problems solved by this technology:

  • Traditional display devices may have limited space for backlight modules, resulting in a larger splicing gap between adjacent modules.
  • This technology reduces the space occupied by the middle frame, minimizing the splicing gap and improving the visual experience.

Benefits of this technology:

  • Allows for the installation of multiple backlight modules, enhancing the brightness and uniformity of the display.
  • Reduces the splicing gap between adjacent backlight modules, resulting in a more seamless and immersive viewing experience.
  • Provides flexibility in designing and assembling display devices with larger screens.

Original Abstract Submitted

The present application provides a splicing installation assembly of a display device, and a display device. The splicing installation assembly includes a backboard, a middle frame and a partition, the middle frame is configured to connect to the backboard of the display device; the partition is arranged in the middle frame and is connected to an inner wall of the middle frame, and is configured to partition an inner space of the middle frame to form a plurality of installation areas for installing backlight modules. As such, multiple backlight modules are possible to install on the same splicing installation assembly, thereby reducing a space occupied by the middle frame between adjacent ones of the backlight modules, thus reducing a splicing gap.
