MSGB WAVEFORM INDICATION - A simplified explanation of the abstract

This abstract first appeared for US patent application 17454889 titled 'MSGB WAVEFORM INDICATION

Simplified Explanation

The abstract describes a patent application that introduces systems, methods, and devices for wireless communication that support RACH message waveform indication. The patent application proposes a two-step RACH procedure where a wireless communication device transmits a random access control channel (RACH) request message and receives a RACH response message based on the request. The innovation lies in the dynamic waveform type of the RACH response message, which is determined by the wireless communication device itself.

  • The patent application introduces a method for wireless communication that supports RACH message waveform indication.
  • The method involves a two-step RACH procedure where a wireless communication device transmits a RACH request message and receives a RACH response message.
  • The waveform type of the RACH response message is dynamic and determined by the wireless communication device.
  • This innovation allows for more flexibility and adaptability in wireless communication systems.

Potential applications of this technology:

  • Wireless communication systems and devices

Original Abstract Submitted

This disclosure provides systems, methods, and devices for wireless communication that support RACH message waveform indication. In a first aspect, a method of wireless communication includes transmitting, by a wireless communication device, a random access control channel (RACH) request message; and receiving, by the wireless communication device, a RACH response message based on the RACH request message, wherein a waveform type of RACH response messages is dynamic, wherein the waveform type of the RACH response message is determined by the wireless communication device, and wherein transmitting the RACH request message and receiving the RACH response message comprise a two-step RACH procedure. Other aspects and features are also claimed and described.
