A user equipment (UE) may receive one or more messages scheduling resources allocated for one or more uplink transmissions that at least partially overlap in time with scheduled resources allocated for one or more downlink transmissions. In such cases, the UE may use different communication parameters for overlapping and non-overlapping resources. For example, the UE may receive a configuration of a first set of communication parameters that are configured for an overlapping portion of the resources and a second set of communication parameters that are configured for a non-overlapping portion of the resources. The UE may apply the first set of communication parameters and the second set of communication parameters to the uplink and downlink resources for transmitting or receiving the one or more uplink and downlink communications.
