ELECTRONIC APPARATUS - A simplified explanation of the abstract

This abstract first appeared for US patent application 20240280887 titled 'ELECTRONIC APPARATUS

The abstract describes an electronic apparatus with a main body containing a projection lens on the upper surface and a nut on the side surface. A support connects to the main body through a hinge module, allowing rotation.

  • Main body with projection lens and nut
  • Support with base plate and support member connected to main body
  • Hinge module for rotatable connection between main body and support member
  • First hinge member fixed to main body with teethed part
  • Second hinge member fixed to support member with teethed part for engagement

Potential Applications: - This technology could be used in projectors, cameras, or other optical devices where adjustable angles are required. - It could also be applied in robotics for articulation and movement control.

Problems Solved: - Enables easy adjustment of the angle of the main body for optimal viewing or imaging. - Provides stability and support for the main body while allowing for rotation.

Benefits: - Improved flexibility and versatility in positioning the main body. - Enhanced user experience with adjustable angles for better viewing or imaging.

Commercial Applications: - This technology could be valuable in the manufacturing of projectors, cameras, and robotic systems where precise angle adjustments are necessary for optimal performance.

Questions about the technology: 1. How does the hinge module ensure a secure connection between the main body and the support member? 2. What materials are typically used in the construction of the main body and support member for durability and stability?

Original Abstract Submitted

an example electronic apparatus may include a main body having an upper surface at which a projection lens is disposed and a side surface at which a nut is disposed; a support including a base plate and a support member having a first end connected to the base plate and a second end facing the side surface of the main body; and a hinge module configured to rotatably connect the main body to the support member, wherein the hinge module includes a first hinge member having a first end fixed to the side surface of the main body and a second end at which a first teethed part is formed and a second hinge member having a first end fixed to the support member and a second end at which a second teethed part configured to engage with the first teethed part is formed.
