a clothing treatment apparatus includes: a cabinet; a first clothing treatment chamber for accommodating clothes in the cabinet; a machine chamber for supplying steam or air to the first clothing treatment chamber; and a door assembly for opening and closing an opening. the door assembly includes: a first panel having a second clothing treatment chamber for treating clothes formed therein, the first panel being open at one side and being pivotably connected to the cabinet; a second panel for opening and closing the open one side of the first panel; and a partition plate, disposed between the first panel and the second panel, for applying pressure to each of the clothes placed on the first panel and the clothes placed on the second panel.
