The present disclosure provides a comment prompt method, an electronic device and a storage medium. The comment prompt method includes: displaying a multimedia content on a content display page; and displaying, in response to a determination that there is a popular comment on the multimedia content, comment prompt information on the content display page when a display duration of the multimedia content reaches a first preset duration threshold, wherein the comment prompt information is used to prompt an active user to view comments on the multimedia content by triggering a display position of a comment control.
