ELECTRONIC APPARATUS - A simplified explanation of the abstract

This abstract first appeared for US patent application 18636771 titled 'ELECTRONIC APPARATUS

The abstract describes an electronic apparatus with a main body, a support, and a hinge module connecting the main body to the support.

  • The main body has a projection lens on the upper surface and a nut on the side surface.
  • The support consists of a base plate and a support member connected to the main body.
  • The hinge module allows the main body to rotate on the support member, with teethed parts for engagement.

Potential Applications: - This technology could be used in projectors, cameras, or other optical devices. - It may also be applicable in robotics or automation systems where precise positioning is required.

Problems Solved: - Provides a stable and adjustable connection between the main body and the support. - Allows for easy adjustment of the projection lens or other components on the main body.

Benefits: - Enables precise positioning and alignment of optical components. - Facilitates maintenance and adjustments without disassembling the entire apparatus.

Commercial Applications: - This technology could be valuable in the manufacturing of high-end projectors, cameras, or robotic systems. - It may also find use in medical imaging equipment or scientific instruments requiring precise optical alignment.

Questions about the technology: 1. How does the hinge module ensure a secure connection between the main body and the support? 2. What materials are typically used in the construction of the main body and support for durability and stability?

Frequently Updated Research: - Stay updated on advancements in hinge technology for electronic apparatus to enhance performance and reliability.

Original Abstract Submitted

An example electronic apparatus may include a main body having an upper surface at which a projection lens is disposed and a side surface at which a nut is disposed; a support including a base plate and a support member having a first end connected to the base plate and a second end facing the side surface of the main body; and a hinge module configured to rotatably connect the main body to the support member, wherein the hinge module includes a first hinge member having a first end fixed to the side surface of the main body and a second end at which a first teethed part is formed and a second hinge member having a first end fixed to the support member and a second end at which a second teethed part configured to engage with the first teethed part is formed.
