Original Abstract Submitted
A method and a device for encoding/decoding a video are provided. The method for decoding a video includes deriving a Most Probable Mode (MPM) list based on intra-prediction modes of at least one neighboring block adjacent to a current block, reordering one or more candidate modes in the MPM list, deriving an intra-prediction mode of the current block based on one or more candidate modes in a reordered MPM list, and generating a prediction block of the current block based on the intra-prediction mode of the current block.
