An embodiment relates to a method for operation of relay UE in a wireless communication system, the method comprising: relay UE establishing a sidelink connection with remote UE; the relay UE receiving system information or a paging message from a base station; and the relay UE transmitting the system information or the paging message to the remote UE, wherein the remote UE operates on the basis of SL DRX, and, on the basis of the transmission of the system information or the paging message being a broadcast or a groupcast, the system information or the paging message is transmitted in an on-duration related to a DRX configuration irrelevant to a PC5 5QI (PQI).
