  • Personalized training programs based on movement analysis.
  • Early detection of movement abnormalities.

Potential Commercial Applications

  • Healthcare industry for physical therapy and rehabilitation.
  • Sports technology companies for performance analysis tools.
  • Wearable technology manufacturers for gait monitoring devices.

Possible Prior Art

One possible prior art could be motion capture systems used in biomechanics research for analyzing movement patterns and gait quality.

What are the specific sensor data used for estimating the harmonic index in this device?

The specific sensor data used for estimating the harmonic index in this device are related to the spatial acceleration and spatial angular velocity of the foot movement.

How does the estimation model calculate the harmonic index based on the input feature amount data?

The estimation model calculates the harmonic index based on the input feature amount data by processing the extracted information from the gait waveform to generate an estimation value related to the smoothness of movement of the subject's waist.

Original Abstract Submitted
