SUPPORTING VARIOUS CONSTELLATIONS - A simplified explanation of the abstract

This abstract first appeared for US patent application 18260094 titled 'SUPPORTING VARIOUS CONSTELLATIONS

Simplified Explanation

- A first device receives configuration information from a second device indicating available constellations for a modulation and coding scheme (MCS). - The first device also receives control information from the second device for communication between the two devices, indicating the MCS. - The first device communicates with the second device based on the control information using a constellation from the available constellations.

Potential Applications

This technology can be applied in various communication systems where different constellations are used for modulation and coding schemes.

Problems Solved

- Efficient communication between devices with different MCS requirements. - Simplified configuration and control of communication parameters.

Benefits

- Improved communication efficiency. - Flexibility in adapting to different MCS requirements. - Enhanced reliability in communication systems.

Original Abstract Submitted

Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to devices, methods, apparatuses and computer readable storage media for supporting various constellations. According to embodiments of the present disclosure, a first device receives, from a second device, configuration information indicating at least one constellation available for a modulation and coding scheme, MCS. The first device receives, from the second device, control information for a communication between the first and second devices. The control information indicating the MCS. The first device performs the communication with the second device based on the control information using a constellation of the at least one constellation.
