Rail Vehicle - A simplified explanation of the abstract

This abstract first appeared for US patent application 18598347 titled 'Rail Vehicle

Simplified Explanation: The patent application describes a rail vehicle with a film that can be easily maintained and replaced without being affected by aging, expansion, or contraction. The film is connected to the structure of the vehicle via an elastic body, allowing for weight reduction by reducing the number of components.

  • The rail vehicle includes a film that is resistant to aging and environmental factors.
  • The film is connected to the structure of the vehicle through an elastic body.
  • The design allows for easy maintenance and replacement of the film.
  • Weight reduction is achieved by reducing the number of components in the vehicle.
  • Tension applied to the film through the elastic body ensures stability and durability.

Potential Applications: This technology could be applied in the manufacturing of various rail vehicles, such as trains, trams, and subways. It can also be used in other industries where lightweight, durable materials are required.

Problems Solved: - Aging and environmental factors affecting the film in rail vehicles. - Difficulty in maintaining and replacing film components. - Weight issues due to a high number of components in rail vehicles.

Benefits: - Enhanced durability and longevity of film components. - Simplified maintenance and replacement processes. - Weight reduction leading to improved efficiency and performance of rail vehicles.

Commercial Applications: The technology could have significant commercial applications in the railway industry, leading to the production of more efficient and durable rail vehicles. It could also attract interest from manufacturers looking to enhance the performance of their transportation systems.

Questions about Rail Vehicle Film Technology:

1. How does the elastic body contribute to the stability of the film in the rail vehicle?

  - The elastic body helps maintain tension in the film, ensuring stability and durability.

2. What are the potential cost savings associated with using this film technology in rail vehicles?

  - The reduced need for maintenance and replacement of film components could lead to cost savings for rail vehicle operators.

Original Abstract Submitted

Provided is a rail vehicle including a film that can be maintained in a construction state without being affected by expansion and contraction or the like of the film due to aging, and can be easily constructed and replaced, in addition to being able to promote a weight reduction by reducing the number of components. In a rail vehicle including a structure, the structure includes a film provided along the structure on a vehicle inner side of the rail vehicle, the film has a film central portion, a film end portion connected to the structure via an elastic body, and a first fastener portion that separably connects the film central portion and the film end portion, and tension of the elastic body is applied to the film in a state in which the first fastener portion is closed.
